Now put the date on your computer forward by a year or so, and and start up the game. If she's still stuck, put her back through the door (I always close the game first, but I'm told you don't need to) and change the date forward by another year or two. Bring her back out. If she's still stuck, repeat this until she does give birth.
If you get as far as 2036 (putting her back through the door each time you are going to alter the clock), and she still hasn't given birth you have a really stuck pregnancy. If you put the game foward any further the baby will come out, but it will cause your game to crash if you try to select it. I did this once, before I knew, and it was very traumatic...it took me months to work out why. So again, I'll say don't go any further forward than 2036!
If she still hasn't given birth put her away and alter the clock back to 1980. She might produce the baby then...if not, try alternating 2036 with 1980 a few times. If she still doesn't give birth overwrite the file you've been timefowarding with the backup you made and try again, just going straight to 2036, bring her out, back to 1980, bring her out, back to 2036
This method's always worked for me, and as long as you don't go past 2036 you should be fine :o)
When you're done remember to change the clock back to the proper date. After you've closed the game you can bring all your other petz back into the Adopted Petz folder!

Hexing is taking an item that comes in the Petz game, for this we'll say the Dalmatian Breed, and making it into something else. For example you can get a Catahoula Leopard Dog breedfile, made by changing the hex code of the Dalmatian Breedfile. You can do this with clothes and toys too!

4. How do I have litters of more than one Puppy/Kitten?
First of all you need to get your pet pregnant. Once she is pregnant you need to make a copy of her file. The number of copies you make depends on the number of Puppiez/Kittenz you want. (eg. you want 4 puppiez you make 3 copies of your mum.) You can copy your pet easily by running your petz programme then 'Copy Petz' (which is located on the drop down menu) Rename the new file(s) and put them in the 'Adopted Petz' folder.
Wait for your petz to give birth. You now have petz that are identical, but have the same parents, which is as close to real litters as you will get! When the Newbornz are Puppiez you can choose to keep the copy(s) or delete them and leave the original mum to look after them!

This way is simpler, but whereas you will have puppiez/kittenz that look different by doing it the other way this way all the puppiez/kittenz wil look the same.
Firstly you get your pet pregnant. Then you want to wait until your pet has had her offspring. Then you need to make the mothers file 'Read Only'*. When the Puppy/Kitten is old enough to leave his/her mother another will be born! When you have had enough turn off the 'Read Only' option!
*To make the file 'Read Only' click My Computer, then use that to find the file. When you have found the file right click on it and select 'Properties'. Tick the Box next to 'Read Only

7. Can I change the gender of my Petz?
Yes. through hexing. If you adopt from the PF. Magic Petz Adoption Centre (NOT mine) you can choose whether you have a male or female Petz. Petz your female has are random.

I eventually abandoned the memberz area. Most of the content that was going to be on it has now been moved to the main site so everyone can access it :-)

First of all I'd advise removing all your other petz from the Adopted Petz folder into a tempory one, to avoid accidental runaways. I'd also advise making a copy of the pregnant pet just incase.

Hmm...do you use Internet Explorer 6? If you do it's probably that, I've been told they don't work in that. I haven't tested personally though; I use 5.5. Otherwise..hmm...did you need to install the plugin? If you did and haven't restarted yet try restarting. If that doesn't work I'm afraid I don't know =\

All my downloadable Petz files are zipped using Winzip. So you need to unzip the files before putting them in your Adopted Petz folder!

20. How do you Hex?
If I had a pound everytime someone asked me this I'd be rich! Darn I should have asked for a pound before I'd tell them ^_~ Go to The Petz Warehouse and download either the Petz 3 Hexing Tutorial or the Petz 4 Hexing Tutorial, depending on which program you're hexing for. These are the basic ones and should get you started!
